- Debating Women: Gender, Education, and Spaces for Argument, 1835-1945, will be published by Michigan State University Press in Fall 2018.
- Damien Smith Pfister and I received the Janis Edwards article of the year award from the National Communication Association's Visual Communication division for our article, "The Unnaturalistic Enthymeme: Figuration, Interpretation, and Critique after Digital Mediation" (published in Argumentation and Advocacy in 2016).
- Check out two new article publications with co-author Michele Kennerly (Penn State) about gender, history, and persuasion:
- My chapter, "Taking Women Seriously: Debaters, Faculty Allies, and the Feminist Work of Debating in the 1930s and 1940s," was recently published in Speech and Debate as Civic Education, edited by J. Michael Hogan, Jessica A. Kurr, Michael J. Bergmaier, and Jeremy D. Johnson.
